Q: What is a typical day like for you, managing this coworking space?
A typical day at the Hive involves checking all floors regularly to make sure pantries are clean and stocked, offices and meeting rooms always "tour-ready," and ensuring that all members are thriving in our space.
We connect with members on a daily basis and welcome their guests into the space throughout the week.
We make coffee, give tours, and regularly host events to bring the community together. We are here as your go-to person to make sure you've got everything you need to have a productive day!
Q: What has been challenging for the Hive Jinnan during these pandemic times?
The pandemic has had significant impacts on the Hive’s community and global economy, which has required us to stay dynamic and adapt to our communities’ needs.
We are taking extensive precautionary measures to ensure our spaces are safe and sanitized as well as provide rent relief to members. We do our best to support the wider business community by offering promotional deals and going the extra mile to ensure we accommodate everyone the best we can during this tumultuous time.
I would say the most challenging and unfortunate effect has been that we are unable to host large-scale events open to the public, which has always been a great way for people to network and have fun.
